Friends of Lofthouse

Fountains Earth C E Primary School is lucky enough to have had a Parent Teachers Association (PTA) called The Friends of Lofthouse, for a number of years.

A group of volunteer parents and teachers, the Friends organise a number of events throughout the school year. They raise valuable funds, contributing to for example educational equipment and school visits. The Friends run a number of social events for parents and children.

During the 2016/2017 academic year the Friends raised £2700 and supported the school in funding the following:
  • School trip pantomime tickets
  • Settle Stories (visitors to school)
  • Writing Shed to be used by the whole school
  • Transportation for several school trips
  • New branded school PE kit for competitions
  • Dictionaries and hoodies for leavers

In Autumn 2017 we held a Domino Drive, Christmas Fair and Bags 2 School collection to raise further funds.
