Happy New Year and welcome back! We hope that you have all had a wonderful break - I’m sure that the children will have lots of exciting stories to tell us.

Our new topic this term is called ‘Underground’. We will start with a science focus looking at rocks, soils and fossils. We will then link it to how the Ancient Egyptians used the land around them to support their civilisation. On Tuesday 30th January, we will visit Leeds City Museum for an exciting Egyptian workshop. A letter with further details will follow shortly.

Your teachers are Mrs J Metcalfe and Mrs J Harker-Jones.
